Affiliate 9 - Photographer - Adam Smith:

Adam has been producing award winning images for several years. In the year 2000, he gained the qualification of licentiate with the Royal Photographic Society. Over the years he has gained more recognition and qualifications through being a member of the SWPP and BPPA. Adam is also proud to be a member of the Guild of Photographers.   Adam's first interest in photography was through travel, photographing landscapes and wildlife. After photographing his cousins christening Adam decided to look at the more social element of photography, attended many training courses and seminars and decided to go into business for himself. Adam enjoys working with people and loves the challenge that a wedding can offer.   Adam shows a real passion for his work and will often spend the entire day with the bride and groom capturing every moment, looking at every opportunity to widen his style and improve upon his already impressive portfolio.

"We interviewed about 4 photographers before we met Adam. Although Adam was very new to wedding photography at the time we could sense the passion, enthusiasm and commitment he had for his work. Unlike the other photographers he was prepared to listen to our ideas and was prepared to do what we wanted him to do. I wanted to create a story of the day and he was the only one who was prepared to be with us throughout, not only the day but also throughout the evening. I felt comfortable with Adam, a good rapport was established immediately. I think for me that was an important factor as I hate having my photo taken. Adam even gave the family lessons on how to stand etc for the photo's to enable us to be photogenic! He worked extremely hard, he pre-visited the venue to establish the areas suitable for the photos. Arrived early on the day to revisit the areas he has chosen and remained with us until the day ended. He became one of the wedding party - he even came colour co-ordinated! He took over 1000 photos from which we were presented with 200 to make our selection. All my guests thought Adam was something else. He did not intrude but was always there for that special moment which he captured beautifully. He made the wedding party laugh with his little quirky jokes - he has a brilliant sense of humour. The package he offered us was second to none, the post event service was also excellent. I had a problem putting my album together, there were so many beautiful photos that I found it difficult to chose. He sat down with us one Sunday morning for two hours, and together we put together an album that brings tears to our eyes every time we look at it. When my friends and family saw the album they couldn't believe how beautifully it had all been put together. The album was white Italian leather in a brief case. We were also presented with a mini album as small keepsake and also DVD's with the photos displayed to music. The post service was very efficient - within two weeks of deciding the final album lay out, we had our album presented. I cannot fault the service Adam provided, I would have no hesitation to recommend him to my friends and family or any other special bride who would like to be made to feel as special as I did on my wedding day.
